It makes sense to calculate f(2) and f(3) here since f(x) is a simple function.
We're given \(f(1) = 1\)
\(f(2) = 2(2) + f(1) = 4 + 1 = 5\)
\(f(3) = 2(3) + f(2) = 6 + 5 = 11\)
f(3) = 11, so C is the answer.
We're given \(f(1) = 1\)
\(f(2) = 2(2) + f(1) = 4 + 1 = 5\)
\(f(3) = 2(3) + f(2) = 6 + 5 = 11\)
