Let:
P = number of employees who received pay increments = 36
T = number of employees who received premium training courses = 48
N = number of employees who received both pay increments and premium training courses
X = number of employees who received pay increments but not premium training = 15 to 20
--> T - N = number of employees who received premium training but not pay increment
Also, P = N + X
--> N = P - X
Plug in numbers from 15 to 20 for X
--> N = 36 - 15 = 21
or 36 - 16 = 20
or 36 - 17 = 19
or 36 - 18 = 18
or 36 - 19 = 17
or 36 - 20 = 16
--> T - N = 48 - 21 = 27
or 48 - 20 = 28
