Let us assume that the total number of toffees is T and the number of toffees each hold is their namesake
M=T/4
Y-R=T/10, adding these 2 equations M+Y-R=7T/20
now, M+Y+R=T
subtracting above equations, (M+Y+R)-(M+Y-R)=T-7T/20
2R=13T/20
R=13T/40
Substituting the value of R in Y-R=T/10, we get Y=17T/40
so, M=T/4=0.25T, Y=17T/20=0.425T and R=13T/40=0.325T
adding the lowest values, that is M and R, we get the M+R=0.325T+0.25T=0.575T
Percentage of the total toffees held = (M+R)/T=0.575T/T=0.575= 57.5%
so, qty A is greater
