One option is to use the onscreen calculator to convert 1/11 to a decimal (0.090909...), in which case the correct answer is obvious.
Another option is to write equivalent fractions, as follows:
Quantity A: 1/11 = 9/99
Quantity B: 0.09 = 9/100
Both fractions have the same numerator.
Since 99 is LESS THAN 100, we can conclude that 9/99 is GREATER THAN 9/100
