The answer is B.
Quantity A --> It is an arithmetic progression.
1st term = 2 ; Last term = 98 ; No. of terms = 49
--> Average = (2 + 98)/2 = 100/2 = 50
--> Sum = 50 * 49 = 2450
Quantity B --> It is an arithmetic progression.
1st term = 1 ; Last term = 99 ; No. of terms = 50
--> Average = (1 + 99)/2 = 100/2 = 50
--> Sum = 50 * 50 = 2500
Quantity A --> It is an arithmetic progression.
