Everything you wrote this correct. I'm just not sure how you got x = 60.
Can you elaborate on how you x = 60?

It turns out that triangle DBC is an equilateral triangle.
This means 2x = 60, in which case x = 30

Let's focus on triangle ABD below:

We already know that two of the angles in this triangle are x and (180 - 2x)
The only missing angle is ∠BAD

Since the three angles in a triangle must add to 180°, we can write: x + (180 - 2x) + ∠BAD = 180
Simplify: 180 - x + ∠BAD = 180
Subtract 180 from both sides: -x + ∠BAD = 0
Add x to both sides: ∠BAD = x
