The triangle given is an isosceles triangle therefore, y=3x
Notice that 3x and 5y are in the straight line hence, 3x+5y =180
we have two pair of eqn to find two different value.
Hence, 3x can be replaced by y in the 2nd eqn
y+5y = 180
6y=180
therefore, y = 30
y = 3x
30=3x
or x = 10
