If you think about this backwards, the possible total number of chocolates MINUS 2 must a multiple of 3, 5, and 7.
Since 3, 5, and 7 are prime numbers, their LCM is 105.
Subtract 2 from each option and divide by 105; if the answer is a whole number, then it is a possible option.
A)
107 - 2 = 105
105 / 105 = 1
A works
B.
212 - 2 = 210
210 / 105 = 2
B works
C.
103 - 2 = 101
101 / 105 = 0.96
C does not work
E.
208 - 2 = 206
206 / 105 = 1.96
D does not work
