If the question did not specify "positive" multiples, do we consider zero to be the first multiple?

If the starting number is positive such as in this case - 5 - negative multiples has no sense in math

I have 2 pizzas, and 3 times than that = 6 pizzas

Having -6 pizzas has no sense
