3 + 4 + 𝑥/3= 2(5 + 6 + 𝑦/3)
7 + 𝑥 = 2(11 + 𝑦)
7 + 𝑥 = 22 + 2𝑦
𝑥 = 15 + 2𝑦
𝑥 – 2𝑦 = 15 (eq.1)
We need to calculate, (𝑥 − 𝑦) is how much more than 𝑦, that means we need to
calculate difference between (𝑥 − 𝑦) and 𝑦.
We have
