Group Beck and Claudia together. Two possibilities emerge:
1. The entities to be arranged are A, BC, D and E --> 4! = 24
2. The entities to be arranged are A, CB, D and E --> 4! = 24
--> Total = 24 + 24 = 48
The answer is C.
