The graph of y = x^2 - 3 is the graph of x^2 pushed 3 units below the origin so coordinate of Q = (0, -3).
To find coordinate of P, sub for x = 2 in the equation. Therefore P (2,1)
Distance between P and Q
= D^2 = (-3-1)^2 + (0-2)^2
Answer is C
