We know that a line passes through 3 points $(−10,−18),(20,22)&(x,2)$.
The slope of a line joining points $(x1,x2)&(y1,y2)$is$y2−y1x2−x1$
Now, the slope of the line found using any two of the three points say $(−10,−18)&(20,22)$ above must be same as that found using the some other pair of two of the three points, say $(20,22)&(x$, 2) so we get $22−(−18)20−(−10)=2−22x−20$ i.e. $4030=−20x−20⇒x=5$
Hence the answer is C.
