Although the science says that climate change is due to human activities, many people still think that this is debatable and , as a result, stay unshakable or firmly in their position that climate change is just a normal cycle of the earth or continuum in the our geological eras

According to the scientists, the effects of climate change are urgent. I.E., moving now could already be too late.

A is the only sense that fits into the sentence

Choice B, "irrefutable," which means "impossible to disprove, unassailable," doesn't fit the sense. Climate change may or may not be "uncontrollable," but that's not the point of the sentence.
Answer Blank (ii): Choice F, "adamant," meaning "firm, stubbornly unyielding, not open to reason or persuasion," fits the sense. Choice D, "implacable," means "not capable of pleasing, unforgiving" and doesn't fit the sense. "Inflexible," choice E, is a synonym of "implacable," and therefore can be eliminated.

I can’t spot any evidence which suggests “urgent” as the choice to blank 1. Can someone help with this please?

Even though the OA reported above says A and F: A doe snot make sense. Totally.

The question is

Even though the climate change is so evident and therefore we cannot deny it (irrefutable) many people are still firm in their position (adamant). Problay they believe in the coming of a new Ice Age soon
