First of all arrange all the numbers in ascending order: 3/4.04 = 0.74, 3/2.02 = 1.48, 3/2 = 1.5, 3.03/2.02 = 1.5, √9.09/√4.04 = 1.5, 9.09/2 = 4.545 Here, n=6, thus, we use the median for even number of observations formula : {(n/2)th term + [(n/2)+1]th term}/2 Therefore, (3rd term + 4th term) / 2 = (1.5+1.5) / 2 = 1.5 Hence, the answer is C) 1.50

Don’t waste your time to calculate all fractions. We have an even set of six numbers, hence the median is the average of the third and fourth value listed in ascending order.
Notice that we have a mix of proper and improper fractions. Proper fractions are always smaller than improper fractions. Hence, 3/4.04 and 3/2.02 are the two smallest fractions.
We only have to find the third and fourth largest fractions among the improper fractions. Without calculating we see that third, fourth, and fifth have the same value. Hence, the median is 1.50.
