Good question sir.

Usually the official questions if not always mention arithmetic mean. However, we could have two scenarios

1) Scenario 1

Quote:

2) Scenario 2

Quote:
For a finite set or list of numbers, the mean of the numbers refers to the arithmetic mean unless otherwise noted.


In the question above I think is fine, referring to a finite set of numbers, per my understanding
