Each side of the map covers 8 miles since it is a square and √(64)=8.

Then we know that 1in:43m=x=8m, so that 8 miles corresponds to 6 inches.

Thus, the perimeter is 6∗4=24.

Here it is about the SQUARE map.

So each side of the sq map =√64(in square, Area = side^2)

= 8 miles

Since 1inch=43 miles,


Therefore 8miles=34∗8=6inch



Therefore perimeter of square map in inch = 4*side = 4*6 =24 inch
