If x were 90, the triangle made of the two radii would have had an hypotenuse of \(sqrt(2^2+2^2) = sqrt8 = 2sqrt2 < 3\). Thus, given that the third side is actually greater than the one we would have had if the triangle were right, we can state that the angle must be greater than 90. Answer A
