Approach #1:
Given:
Quantity A: (0.91^8)/(0.91^9)
Quantity B: 1
Apply Quotient Law to quantity A to get:
Quantity A: 0.91^(-1)
Quantity B: 1
Rewrite quantity A as:
Quantity A: 1/0.91
Quantity B: 1
Since the numerator (1) is greater than the denominator (0.91), we know that 1/0.91 is greater than 1
Answer: A

Approach #2:
We can solve this question using matching operations
Given:
Quantity A: (0.91^8)/(0.91^9)
Quantity B: 1
Multiply both quantities by 0.91^9 to get:
Quantity A: 0.91^8
Quantity B: 0.91^9
Divide both quantities by 0.91^8 to get:
Quantity A: 1
Quantity B: 0.91
Answer: A
