- $x$ is at coordinate $\(-\frac{1}{2}\)$ (halfway between -1 and 0 )
- $y$ is at coordinate 1.5 (halfway between 1 and 2 )
Midpoint formula:
$$
\(\text { Midpoint }=\frac{x+y}{2}=\frac{-\frac{1}{2}+1.5}{2}=\frac{1}{2} \div 2=\frac{1}{4}\)
$$
Quantity comparison:
- Quantity $\(\mathrm{A}=\frac{1}{4}=0.25\)$
