Carcass, thanks for sharing the link. however as I asked, i dont think we will be able to calculate numbers like n raised to the power 20.., I am asking this because in one of the solutions provided, they end up doing such a calculation.

However, in a question on the GRE you do not need such calculation. Usually whe a number is raised to such power is to use a pattern

For exampe 2^20 is a pattern

2^2=4
2^3=8
2^4=16
2^5=32

2 repeats itself after 4

In the case above you just enter the number raised and then hit the = button 20 times. You will get the result

For example 1.5*1.5=2.25 then 20 times = and you have 16,834.11
