Even though the figure seems a trapezoid, since the figures are not drawn in scale and since no assumption is made on the type of polygon or the parallelism of the two horizontal lines, we can't say anything about the angles x and y.

Since the horizontal lines aren't given as parallel, so we can't calc the angles in the figure.
