I have found a couple of questions dubious in GRE prep club's practice test. Is there anyone who feels the same?
Here is one of them:
Quant Test -10
Given x, y are integers and (x+y)(x−y)=0(x+y)(x−y)=0 and xy≠0xy≠0
Answer (it says): C) Both are equal. How is it possible?

This is the first question in the test - Question 1 of 20 ID: Q02-88
It makes sense to me since 6*6*19/2 = 342. Therefore 342 = 342. Both sides are equal.
Edit: I see, the issue, it can be easily confused as a root of 6th degree/power instead of 6 times a square root. I fixed it to read more easily.
In the test it was written correctly but just the optics of it could be read both ways.
