I got 315( 164 Q and 151V) today and Iam not satisfied with my score.What are the odds that I will get more than that if take it again?? my target was 320 before.

Hi,

It is impossible to assert. Too many variables. Your preparation, improvements, your score during a mock test.

Hi Sarmila43,

I’m glad you reached out, and I’m happy to help. Certainly, you can improve your GRE score; however, you will have to put in more time and effort in order to realize an improvement. Are you looking for some advice on how to craft your study plan moving forward? I’m happy to provide further advice, but I have some questions first:

1) How many practice GREs have you taken? Please list the dates on which you’ve taken any practice GREs, the total scores, and the quant and verbal scores, as well as how you were feeling while taking the tests. Also, please tell me where these tests came from (ex: ets.org).

2) Please describe how you have been studying. For how many hours a day have you been studying and for how many months? What resources have you been using?

3) To what programs will you be applying? What are the deadlines for these programs?

4) By when would you LIKE to take the GRE? By when MUST you take the GRE?

Once I learn a bit more about your situation with the GRE, I can provide some detailed advice.
