-2,-3 and -5 are also prime numbers and satisfy the equation as they have not specified only positive integers why not take the negative as well?

Prime numbers are never negative
in any case, because of mod sign the numbers will become positive

Simplifying the equation will give:
x^2+5x-50<=0
When equated to 0, the values for x will be 5 and -10.
Since prime numbers can not be negative, eliminate 10.
Now prime numbers less than 5 i.e. 2 and 3 when substituted in that equation will make it negative thereby satisfying the equation.
Hence the required values are 2, 3, and 5.
Average = 2+3+5/3= 10/3

1 is neither prime nor composite

Prime numbers have exactly 2 positive integer factors

Composite numbers have more than 2 positive integer factors

1 has only one factor

So neither prime nor composite
