Given: |1 - x| = 6
So, EITHER 1 - x = 6 OR 1 - x = -6
If 1 - x = 6, then x = -5
If 1 - x = -6, then x = 7
Given: |2y - 6| = 10
So, EITHER 2y - 6 = 10 OR 2y - 6 = -10
If 2y - 6 = 10, then y = 8
If 2y - 6 = -10, then y = -2
So, let's look at all possible values of xy
xy = (-5)(8) = -40
xy = (-5)(-2) = 10
xy = (7)(8) = 56
xy = (7)(-2) = -14
Answer: A, B, D
