Quantity A
Quantity B
The remainder when n is

The remainder when n is
divided by 18

GIVEN: n is a positive integer that is divisible by 6.
In other words, n is a multiple of 6
So, some possible values of n are: 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36,...

Let's test some possible values of n

case i: test n = 12
We get:
Quantity A: The remainder when 12 is divided by 12 is 0
Quantity B: The remainder when 12 is divided by 18 is 12
In this case, Quantity B is greater

case ii: test n = 36
We get:
Quantity A: The remainder when 36 is divided by 12 is 0
Quantity B: The remainder when 36 is divided by 18 is 0
In this case, the quantities are EQUAL

Answer: D
