Kudos for the right solution and explanation


In the quadratic equation; \(ax^2 + bx + c\)
Sum of the roots = \(\frac{-b}{a}\)
Product of the roots = \(\frac{c}{a}\)

Now, \(x^2 - 9x - 36 = 0\)

Col. A: \(\frac{-(-9)}{1} = 9\)
Col. B: \(\frac{(-9)}{1} = -36\)

Hence, option A
