Let's plug in some values of s and t that meet the above condition that s = |t - 2|


Case 1: Notice that s = 0 and t = 2 satisfy the above equation
Let's plug these values into our Quantities A and B to get:
Quantity A: s + 2 = 0 + 2 = 2
Quantity B: |t| = |2| = 2
In this case the two Quantities are EQUAL

Case 2: Notice that s = 1 and t = 1 satisfy the given equation
Let's plug these values into our Quantities A and B to get:
Quantity A: s + 2 = 1 + 2 = 3
Quantity B: |t| = |1| = 1
In this case Quantity A IS GREATER
