Nice question. Hard to understand at first.
First, we know that 250 is the biggest number AND 250 is a multiple of m.
Let's TEST some possible value of m.
case 1) it's possible that m = 1. That is, the 25 numbers could be {226, 227, 228, ...., 249,250}
If m = 1, then quantity B is greater.
case 2) it's possible that m = 5. That is, the 25 numbers could be {130, 135, 140, ....,240, 245, 250}
If m = 5, then quantities A and B are equal.
Answer: D
