I sent a PM regarding how to attach tags.
I cannot attach tags either during posting a question or after posting it.
Have a look at the attachment

Re: The protest at the capital yesterday was an absolute [#permalink]
The protest at the capital yesterday was an absolute _______; while the activists had the best of intentions, the demonstration showed a complete lack of organization and was actually counterproductive to their cause.

The demonstration went side ways or was a disaster, find two words that fits the best.

A. stalemate - deadend - doesn't suit the requirement
B. debacle - a big failure - fits well
C. impasse - stalemate - doesn't suit the requirement
D. fiasco - synonym of debacle - fits well
E. obstacle - something that is stopping to happen, irrelevant
F. enigma - difficult to understand, irrelevant

The semi colon continues the idea, and since it follows immediately after the blank, the part of the sentence after the semi colon describes the word for the blank. Here we are told that - the demonstration showed a complete lack of organization and was actually counterproductive to their cause.

The words are debacle and fiasco.
