You can reduce both Quantity A and Quantity B into equations and then evaluate from there.
Quantity A: \((400 * .75) + (400 * .75 * .10)\)
Quantity B: \((400 * .45) + 150\)
Quantity A: \(300 + 30\)
Quantity B: \(180 + 150\)
Quantity A: \(330\)
Quantity B: \(330\)
Quantity A is equivalent to Quantity B.
The answer is C.
*For those confused about the first step, instead of first calculating the discount and then subtracting it from the original price, I just found out the remaining price by itself.
So instead of doing \(400 * .25 = 100\). \(400-100 = 300\) to get to 300, I just multiplied \(400 * .75\) to get 300 to save time. The same goes with Quantity B
Quantity A: \((400 * .75) + (400 * .75 * .10)\)
Quantity B: \((400 * .45) + 150\)
