I'll try to word this as clearly as I can.
For a fraction to be undefined, the denominator must be 0. In the question given to us, we do not have exact numbers, only that P & Q are positive and S is negative. This means we want to look for something like \((P+S)\) and \((Q+S)\). Looking at the answers, we see A and B follow this trend.
However, we are missing one more answer. The question never states that P & Q are two different numbers, meaning \((P-Q)\) or \((Q-P)\) is an additional possibility. Again, looking at the answers, we see that E fits as well.
The answers are A,B & E.
