There are several sets of numbers that satisfy the given information (Three numbers have a range of 2 and a median of 4.4)
Let's test a few of these sets
Case a: One possible set is {4, 4.4, 6}
In this case, we get:
Quantity A: 6
Quantity B: 5.4
Here, Quantity B is greater than Quantity A
Case b: Another possible set is {3, 4.4, 5}
In this case, we get:
Quantity A: 5
Quantity B: 5.4
Here, Quantity A is greater than Quantity B
Answer: D
