The anticipated retirement of tens of thousands of baby boomers will create an unprecedented opportunity to move significant numbers of people into career-track jobs at family-supporting incomes. E says
Many out-of-work young people are unaware of these looming employment opportunities.
E does not weaken the argument and the conclusion above.
B instead says that creating new paths is really difficult to do.
E says that out-of-work people are unaware of the opportunities. This is out of scope, we do no care what they know or not. We care if we can or not to create new paths.
