A square is inscribed in the circle. The diagonal of the square is equal to the diameter of the circle. if side of a square = x then diameter = \(x\sqrt{2}\) Therefore, diagonal = \(2\sqrt{2}\) Hence radius = \(\sqrt{2}\)
Area = \(\pi r^2 = 2\pi\)
