For questions like this, we first do prime factorization
So \(10=1*2*5\)
So possible cases-
1) 2*5=10
So average = \(\frac{(2+5)}{2}\)=3.5
2) (-2)*(-5)=10
So average is -3.5
3) 1*10=10
So average is \(\frac{1+10}{2}=\frac{11}{2}\)=5.5
4) (-1)*(-10)=10
So average is -5.5
