\(\boxed{x}\) = the least integer greater than x for all odd values of x ....(1)
\(\boxed{x}\) = the greatest integer less than x for all even values of x ....(2)

\(\boxed{-2}-\boxed{5}\)

For \(\boxed{-2}\), since it is an even number so we will use case (2)
=> \(\boxed{-2}\) = the greatest integer less than -2 = -3

For \(\boxed{5}\), since it is an odd number so we will use case (1)
=> \(\boxed{5}\) = the least integer greater than 5 = 6

=> \(\boxed{-2}-\boxed{5}\) = -3 - 6 = -9

So, answer will be B
