Please explain the answer.
I'm getting that the angle of the shaded region must be 36 degrees. But I'm stuck at that point. I see that we are comparing to 9*Pi. Which must mean that the radius must be less or greater or equal to 3.
Is there some rule for circles I'm unaware of? The answer implies that 9*Pi is greater than the area of the circle presented. The only value I can see that we're relating this to somehow is the 36 degrees we obtained, but the changing the radius should have no bearing on the degrees in this case.

Area of circle = pi*r*r => A = 12*12*pi = 144pi
B = 9pi
How exactly can 144pi < 9pi. Shouldnt the answer be A is greater than B?
Please explain!
