Hello! I am going to take the GRE this spring and I am kind of lost (and terrified). My plan is to go to graduate school for ecology-related studies. Will I have to take the general GRE test only or should I take a subject exam? I am preparing for general math and language stuff as a go-to, but would like a more concise idea of what I should be studying.
Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Hi AndreaBio,
Subject GRE is useful in many cases and a large number of Universities across the Globe demand them. Only way to find out if your target program has a subject GRE requirement is by going over their website and searching for this. In case it is not specifically mentioned you can always mail the department your question.
So ideally you need to prepare a list of universities and look at their requirements. If majority of them have a Subject GRE requirement then you would have appear for subject GRE.
