Solution: the data within one standard deviation from the mean in both sides is 2/3, that means half of it is 1/3; plus we know all of the data to the left of the mean
is 0.5 so the final answer is calculated from
x + 1/3 + 0.5 = 1
x = 1 - 0.5 - 1/3
x =~ 16%
is 0.5 so the final answer is calculated from
x + 1/3 + 0.5 = 1
x = 1 - 0.5 - 1/3
x =~ 16%

Another version(without the fractions)...please correct me if am wrong.
M + S on the distribution equals to = 50% + 34% = 84%
M + S = 170+12 = 182 cm
Taller than 182 cm would be the balance 16%
