Hey,

The author's style is simple , almost childlike. So he can't be begrudged with writing something with clarity .
Begrudged with - to be envy of

As the author's style is simple, he can't be envious of writing simple(lucid). Hence lucidness

Hi!

Why can't he be envious of writting something clear?, .... he actually is writting something clear so people could envy that of him. It makes not sense for me that people will not envy something that he is actually writting in that way...

Sir, the author is writing simply, now nobody can say that oh! you can't right in a simple manner.

It's like : Let's say you have a Mercedes, now you can't be envious of having a Mercedes as you already have it.

Make sense?

The analysis is correct.

The sentence is odd, though

how could writer been envied for lucidness rather than geniality or gusto
I can write childish stories but they are in same time original or vivid but clear ,for my self I prefer complex intractable stories

hello is my line of thought correct, naviety and lucid are close but lucid works best here as u cant write with innocence (doesnt work) so the best choice is lucid.rx10
