GIVEN:
1,200x + 6,000 = 13,200
12y + 60 = 132
Take the top equation and divide both sides by 100.
When we do this, we get the EQUIVALENT equation, 12x + 60 = 132
Notice that this equation is IDENTICAL to the equation 12y + 60 = 132, EXCEPT one equation uses the variable x and the other uses the variable y.
As such, each equation will have the SAME solution.
Answer: C
