so we know that a vertical line means a straight line going purely up and down.
This means that for no matter what value of y there is, X will always be 3
we also know that between (3,1) and (3,2), y has to be greater than 1 but less than 2
All we have to do now is plug in 3 for every x value in the answer choices,
and we only accept choices that have a y value that is greater than 1 but less than 2.
the two choices are A and C

Which of the following lines intersects the vertical line x = 3 between (3, 1) and (3, 2)?
Look at the figure attached for visualizing the question.
Now, if a line intersects the line x=3, the x-coordinate will always be 3 and y should be between 1 and 2..
Let us substitute the value of x as 3 to see which option gives y between 2 and 3
A. \(y=(\frac{3}{5})x=(\frac{3}{5})*3=\frac{9}{5}=
1+\frac{4}{5}........\), x is between 1 and 2 YES
B. \(y=(\frac{3}{7})x+1=(\frac{9}{7})+1=(\frac{2}{7})+2......\), thus between 2 and 3... No
C. \(y=(\frac{1}{5})x+\frac{6}{5}=(\frac{1}{5})*3+\frac{6}{5}=\frac{9}{5}\), x is between 1 and 2...Yes
D. \(y=-(\frac{3}{2})x+5=5-(\frac{9}{2})=\frac{1}{2}\), thus x <1...No
