In triangle ABC,
A= (x,y) since x and y are positive, the point A lies in first quadrant.
B= (6,0)
C= (0,0)
While plotting the triangle in xy plane, we have,
Base (AB) = 6
Height (y) = ?
Now,
Area of triangle ABC= 1/2 base*height
18= 1/2 6*y
y= 18*2/6
y= 6
Thus, the answer is C.
