Quick Question: My graduate school application says "approximately 800 words" for my personal statement. How many words over 800 would you consider acceptable?
Quick Answer: The answer here is pretty simple regardless of the stated word count. If the prompt says "approximately X words" stay within plus/minus 10% of X.
