Please help with this question?
Also can someone please link the exact videos that go over these concepts in the Green light Test Powers and Roots section? I have reviewed square roots extensively but still did not know how to solve this tough question. Please Advise? How do we solve this if we do it by the operations given?

I don't know how to use the math formula editor so I've written the answer on a paper and took a snap of it.

FYI, the real GRE doesn't test roots like the original question in this thread. That question is way too much of a pain in the butt to be realistic.

As long as you can do roots questions like the ones in the ETS books and tests, you'll be ok.
