2/5 are technicians, and 5/16 of the remaining 3/5 are accountants - that's 3/5*5/16=3/16.
We'll find the common denominator of both fractions: 2/5 = 32/80, 5/16 = 25/80. so technicians plus accountants are 25+32=57/80. those that are neither are 80-57=23/80. A.

We can see the denominators of given fractions are 5 and 16 - Let us assume the total number of employees as a multiple of their LCM i.e. 80
Also, the option choices have 80 as the denominator!

Technicians = 25(80)=32

Remaining = 80−32=48

Accountants = 516(48)=15

Neither technicians nor accountants = 80−32−15=33

Required fraction = 3380

Hence, option B
