QUANTITY A: \(y^2y^4\)

Simplify Quantity A to get:
QUANTITY A: \(y^6\)
QUANTITY B: \(y^8\)
Let's examine two possible cases:
case i: y = 0
We get:
QUANTITY A: \(0^6=0\)
QUANTITY B: \(0^8=0\)
In this case, the quantities are equal
case ii: y = 2
We get:
QUANTITY A: \(2^6\)
QUANTITY B: \(2^8\)
In this case, the Quantity B is greater
