Ok. You are right
Let me try again. However, I really do not like this question.
The left side is the annual cost increase table for each student. The unit is thousands of dollars. The right side is the total cost increase table. The unit is millions of dollars. The question is 1985. The percentage increase in the number of students by 1990. Assuming that the student growth rate is x, it can be seen from the chart that the student fee is $8,000 in 1985, $10,000 in 1990, the total cost is $15 million in 1985, and $25 million in 1990. The total cost divided by the cost per student, ie the number of students, can be concluded, 15 million / 8000 (1 + x) = 25 million, x = 0.33 = 33%.

In 1985, it was 1875 (15,000,000/8,000=1,875), and in 1990 it was 2500 (25,000,000/10,000=2,500). Then find the increase in the period from 85 to 90, 1875x=2500, x=1.33, that is, increase Thirty-three percent.
